Calais hotels usually have
excellent restaurants, the Hotel Meurice is no exception, it has existed
since 1771, but was destroyed during the Second World War. It was rebuilt
in 1954-1955. The Hotel Meurice friendly atmosphere and charm is right in
the heart of Calais, its top class restaurant “La Diligence” is next door.
Calais also has pleasant hotels on the seafront and by the harbour.
