Calais Bus

Calais long term parking Calais Parking Monday to Saturday 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 Parking limited to 4 hours: 0,50€/hour. Parking limited to 2 hours: 1€/heure. Public parking for the "4 Boulevards" Free parking. Free parking places available on main parking.

There is parking on streets close to the boulevards de l'Egalite, Gambetta, Jacquard, Lafayette, Pasteur, rues Royale and de la Mer,

Free parking for coaches:
- At town Hall (Hotel de Ville), Place d'Armes, Quai du Rhin, and Bassin Ouest

The excellent Calais bus service can take you to most parts of the town, including Auchan and Cité Europe.

There is parking on metres:
- Boulevards Gambetta, Jacquard, Lafayette and Pasteur
- rue des Fontinettes
- Boulevard Clemenceau/Rue Royale/Rue de la Mer

Be careful of the dreaded "Priority from the right" this still applies in towns.

Calais Ville station:
Trains go to Boulogne, Dunkerque, Lille, Paris-Nord. Ticket office is open mon - sat 6:30am-8:30pm, sun 8:30-9:30am and 1:30-8:30pm.

BCD buses stop in front of the station on the way to Boulogne and Dunkerque.

OpaleBus, 22 rue Caillette (03 21 00 75 75), operates local buses. Line #3 (dir: Blériot/VVF) runs from the station to the beach, youth hostel, and the camp site.

The tourist office, 12 bd. Clemenceau, is near the train station.

The police station is on place de Lorraine (03 21 19 13 17).
